Child Trafficking Week 2012
I went to this awesome meeting last night at the University of Florida. I was glad to see 4 panelists on fire for victims of human trafficking and a few hundred in attendance. I am so proud of F.I.G.H.T. and Gators for Free the Slaves for hosting this event and all of the events for Human Trafficking Week in Gainesville, Florida. It is so widespread and devastating for the young victims. As Ark of Hope for Children transitions towards openly providing care for young trafficking victims, I hope many will help join us and the many others around the U.S. and the world trying to make a difference.
Getting your attention
We have had the honor of helping these young people that have been hurt so badly I can’t begin to explain. Let your imagination take you to the darkest place and it’s probably not dark enough to touch the abuse these young people have faced. The home is filled with hurting teens

Turning hopelessness to Hope for abused children
Ark of Hope's "Jacob's Wings" transitions program was born out of the "Counter Attack" coaching, counseling and mentoring of severely abused and trafficked children. It was recognized by Blair Corbett that many who were counseled by him had deep material needs to be able to maintain themselves, get off, or stay off the streets. Some that Blair has tried to help have died in their situation and others after.
Help for the hurting
Blair Corbett and Ark of Hope for Children have spent years counseling and mentoring abused youth. We are excited to now be helping with a new online self-help social network for children, teens and adults who are victims in any way. Through Justice For All Revolution, fifteen forums and protected chat areas will offer hope and encouragement through both licensed professionals and people from all walks of life. These include Blair Corbett and a team of compassionate caregivers from Ark of Hope for Children's CounterAttack counseling / mentoring team and leaders with Forerunners Generation International. The site, Justice For All Revolution, is a great, safe environment that will officially open online 24/7 starting May 16, 2011.
