Transitional programs for trafficked, homeless and abandoned children and youth

Jacob's Wings Transitional Living programs, under the umbrella of Ark of Hope for Children, are designed to meet the needs of homeless, trafficked, abandoned and abused children at a variety of levels. These range from basic provisions such as food and clothing to more advanced needs such as items specific to the needs of a particular youth in crisis. Eventually Jacobs Wings programs will include subsidies for and/or actual safe housing.

Jacob's Wings transitions program was born out of the "Counter Attack" coaching, counseling and mentoring of severely abused and trafficked children started by Ark of Hope for Children. It was recognized by Blair Corbett that many who were counseled by him had deep material needs to be able to maintain themselves, get off, or stay off the streets. Some that Blair has tried to help have died in their situation. The program is named after one who died under extreme torture after refusal to follow the order of his abusers. Jacob never found Ark of Hope for Children, but one close to him did. This portion of our ministry is named in his honor.

It is with the utmost urgency that Jacob's Wings maintain with faithful diligence the anonymity of the children and youth served at all times in order to protect them from those that have victimized them. We are attempting to meet some of the monthly living needs and expenses for youthful victims of child trafficking and severe abuse through "Jacob's Wings Midwest, the first of Ark of Hope for transitional living programs. We hope you will help us with your financial support of our efforts. We have also initiated ways to help provide actual needs and/or special wishes of individual children through a couple of our H2O- Hope to Orphans programs; H2O in Action and H2O, One Simple Wish.
