H²O - Hope to Orphans

a ministry of Ark of Hope for Children

Through our H²O - Hope to Orphans program, Ark of Hope for Children increases awareness of the plight of abused and neglected children. Presentations, materials and assistance through our organization are designed to motivate and mobilize localized advocates that are passionate about empowering domestic orphans that live within their area of influence.

The term orphan makes us think of street children throughout the world. However many live within our communities in foster care and among our homeless. Some havebeen victimized in their birth homes, others in bad foster homes and others "saved" from the clutches of child sex trafficking. There are simply not enough services provided through normal efforts to sufficiently change the trajectory of their shattered lives. Ark of Hope for Children believes that the communities and local churches where these children live, are more than capable of banding together to meet the needs of these deserving and needy children and youth.

The goals of our H²O – Hope to Orphans programs are to;

• Bring awareness to the plight of orphaned children and youth and the various needs they and their caregivers have
• Inspire and motivate local communities, groups and churches to reach out to orphaned children and youth in their area
• Equip and mobilize these impassioned communities to maintain this legacy of hope for their own domestic orphans for years to come.

These rejuvenated youth who find care in their own local area then feel loved and cared for as their churches and communities work together to help them rebuild their lives. Our H²O – Hope to Orphans program gives a face to the problem, identifies solutions, and mobilizes localized people of compassion to provide for the needs of both the victim and their caregivers.

Possible areas of need that groups, churches and communities can provide are;

• Support groups for foster children and/or their care givers.
• Group meetings that encourage adoption and/or support adoptive families
• Fund raising and/or craft making groups that equip Ark of Hope for Children’s efforts
• Groups that provide supplies and/or gifts for local foster and/or homeless children and youth
• Christian counselors that provide pro-bono services to victimized homeless and/or foster children and youth
